Signull Labs Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Skye mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our App.

When you connect third-party services to Skye, we collect and process the following data:

  • Email Data: Email content, metadata, sender/recipient information, timestamps from Gmail
  • Calendar Data: Event details, times, locations, attendees, recurring patterns
  • Music Data: Listening history, playlists, preferences from Spotify
  • Health & Fitness Data: Activity levels, sleep patterns, workout data from Apple Health & Fitness
  • Reminders Data: Task lists, due dates, completion status
  • Financial Data: Account balances, transaction history, spending patterns through Plaid integration

1.2 Usage and Analytics Data

We collect information about how you use Skye through third-party analytics services:

  • MixPanel: App usage patterns, feature engagement
  • Sentry: Error reporting and app performance data
  • Firebase: App analytics and performance monitoring
  • Statsig: Feature flag and A/B testing data

1.3 Device Information

  • Device identifiers, operating system version, app version
  • Audio preferences and playback settings for briefings

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your personal information to:

We use the following trusted partners to process your data, all with Zero Data Retention agreements and Business Associate Agreements:

  • Anthropic: AI processing for briefing generation
  • ElevenLabs: Audio generation for voice briefings
  • Google Cloud Platform: Secure data storage and processing

3.2 Security Measures

  • All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols
  • Data is encrypted at rest on secure Google Cloud Platform infrastructure
  • Access to your data is strictly limited to necessary system processes
  • We implement regular security audits and monitoring

3.3 Data Location

Your data is stored and processed in the United States on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

4. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

4.1 No Data Selling: We do not sell, trade, or monetize your personal data in any way.

4.2 No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4.3 Service Providers: We share data only with our processing partners (Anthropic, ElevenLabs, GCP) under strict Zero Data Retention agreements.

4.4 Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

5.1 Active Users: We retain your data while you actively use Skye to provide personalized services.

5.2 Account Deletion: You can request complete data deletion through the App settings or by contacting admin@signulllabs.com.

5.3 App Deletion: If you delete the App without explicitly requesting data deletion, your data remains on our servers and may be automatically purged during routine data cleanup processes.

5.4 Backup Retention: Deleted data may remain in backup systems for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.

6. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

6.1 Access and Export: You can access and export your data through the App or by contacting us.

6.2 Correction: You can update or correct your information through connected service settings or by contacting us.

6.3 Deletion: You can request deletion of your data at any time.

6.4 California Residents (CCPA): If you are a California resident, you have additional rights including:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect
  • Right to delete personal information
  • Right to opt-out of sale (though we don't sell data)
  • Right to non-discrimination

6.5 International Users: We plan to implement GDPR compliance for European users within 90 days of European launch.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

While Skye is available to users 13 and older, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

8. MEMORY SYSTEM PRIVACY

8.1 Memory Generation: Skye creates "memories" - insights about your preferences and patterns derived from your data.

8.2 Memory Storage: Memories are encrypted at rest and stored securely on Google Cloud Platform.

8.3 Memory Use: Memories are used solely to personalize your Skye experience and improve future briefings.

8.4 No Training Data: Your data and memories are never used to train AI models or improve services for other users.

9. THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS

Skye integrates with third-party services (Gmail, Spotify, etc.). Your use of these services is governed by their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies. For information about your obligations when using Skye, please see our Terms of Service.

10. ANALYTICS AND TRACKING

We use analytics services to understand app usage:

  • MixPanel: Tracks feature usage and user engagement (no personal data)
  • Sentry: Monitors app crashes and performance issues
  • Firebase: Provides app analytics and performance data
  • Statsig: Manages feature releases and A/B testing

These services may use cookies or similar technologies. You can opt out of analytics in App settings.

11. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of Skye after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
